Why should I sponsor a horse?
Sponsoring a horse is a wonderful way to help if you have limited time-space or finances and can’t commit to a lifetime of horse care.
It is an opportunity to make a difference by directly helping one of the rescued horses. Your monthly donation will help provide feed, supplements, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and other costs that are directly associated with your sponsorship.
Sponsorship can be a great gift idea or a wonderful program for groups or organizations.
Rescued horses are usually in need of special care from the extra feed, supplements to medical care. This can be very expensive care for the rescue to handle.
HHER is in need of sponsors! It takes a lot of grain and hay to feed the horses for a month. We also use a lot of supplements. We would love to help more horses in need (there is a waiting list of those wanting to relinquish their horses to the rescue) so sponsoring a horse already at the rescue would allow the rescue to help others in need!
Our yearly sponsorship programs:
Feed 1 horse for one week.
Hoof health is very important for and requires it monthly. Your sponsorship will allow for one trim!
1 scheduled education session per month (grooming and care).
1 scheduled pony ride with one of our educational horses.
Plaque placed in front of the horses’ stall with the donor’s name.
1 8×10 professional picture of your sponsored horse with a certificate of sponsorship
There are a few easy ways to become a sponsor:

Sponsorships are not for a particular horse at the rescue. If you are interested in sponsoring a certain horse or want to sponsor one yearly please email us at email@example.com
This agreement in no way entitles the sponsor to ownership and/or exclusive privileges in any way to sponsored animal or property. HHER accepts all liability, expressed and/or implied, for the sponsored equine. Please note that there may be more than one sponsor per equine. This is to ensure that all of our horses are cared for equally, as the funds go into an account to support our whole herd.
